Paradise in Montana
If you’re dreaming of that Yellowstone (yes, this Yellowstone) experience, but on another level and with a bit less violence, we’ve got your destination. Sage Lodge is an ultra luxe resort situated in beautiful Pray, Montana just north of Yellowstone National Park. A stay at this resort, of course, offers the best of fly fishing, hiking, biking, skiing and many other adventures your nature-loving heart desires. The accommodations are as cozy as you would expect with fireplaces in each room, some with spacious patios, and all with breath-taking views of the landscape. There are also four separate ranch houses to book for group trips or family vacations.
The dining options at Sage Lodge are fantastic offering two options of The Grill & the Fireside Room. We had dinner a The Grill and were excited to try the locally-sourced fare so we ordered the Elk Tenderloin and the Bison dishes, both were to die for. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available.
We had a Dirty Martini for each view we took in, truly heaven! To keep with the cozy vibes, the Old Fashioned was also perfect.
The Spa here at the Lodge is unique due to the scenic setting. It truly allows you to unwind while choosing from a range of typical spa services and the ability to add a Wellness experience like Reiki or a Healing Session.
If offered, our spa experience will always include an outdoor hot tub session, a glass of prosecco and this view. Sigh, until next time!
